Building a record-breaking electric supercar is one thing. Building a record-breaking autonomous electric supercar is another.
As the technology hub of NIO, the San Jose team took the lead to build a software platform that would map and control the car without a driver present.
Timed with the brand's technology launch at SXSW Festival, the record attempt was made at the Circuit of the Americas. Our team was on hand throughout the entire process to capture and tell the incredible story.
