Thames Valley Air Ambulance - Livery Design

The Thames Valley Air Ambulance (TVAA) provides a vital life saving service across the three counties of Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, their dedicated team is on call seven days a week, 365 days a year.

To coincide with the launch of their new Airbus H135 helicopter, Interstate was appointed to update the livery of all of the TVAA’s life saving vehicles to ensure a consistent, modern brand image that resonates with all audiences and reflects the crucial work that the charity undertakes.

Our solution is a modern day twist on the classic emergency Battenburg pattern currently in use on all of the UKs ambulances. The soft curves in the pattern are an ode to the River Thames, which flows through the three counties served by this essential service, while the colour scheme embraces the new TVAA colour palette and ensures that the vehicles are highly distinctive and recognisable from all angles, above and below.
