We began working with Oyster in 2015 and have worked on refining and finessing the brand positioning and style in line with the quality and distinction of their superb crafts. Founded in 1973, Oyster Yachts has established itself as an international market leader of world-class cruising yachts and since then Oyster’s devoted followers have eagerly awaited the annual release of the Oyster magazine; a round-up of the year, a collection of owner stories and adventures, and a chance to showcase upcoming models.
As the first embodiment of this newly refined brand, the fresh, whiteness of the Oyster 77 cover, teamed with the elegant matt silver foil creates a clean contemporary look, and a big departure from the previous dark blue covers. This feeling of lightness continues inside with a consistent use of white spacing, borders and large scale impressive imagery and each section is clearly delineated through the use of colour on page headers or backgrounds, setting the pace throughout the issue.
Oyster 77 has been well received by existing owners and new prospects alike and is an impressive portfolio piece, one of which we are very proud.
