Approached by The Kensington & Chelsea Foundation to support their 'Business & Community Together' programme, Interstate was introduced to local counselling charity ‘Help'. The Portobello Road based organisation provides much needed counselling support to those who otherwise would not be able to afford it, on a ‘pay-what-you-can’ basis as well as those who need additional support after completing the NHS six-session limit.
After an initial meeting with the ‘Help' team, Interstate conducted a brand workshop where we assisted the staff and board members in recognising the good work they do and translating this into keywords and messaging that could be used to help raise awareness, and ultimately funds, within the community. After agreeing on a fundraising strategy, we set about refreshing the brand that would support this refined direction. We created a friendly and personable new brand identity with an uplifting colour scheme incorporating their previous palette so as to ease the transition for both staff and clients. Rolled out across stationery, flyers, event apparel and web screens, the new identity sends a message of hope, openness and approachability to anyone seeking 'help' from ‘Help'.
