UltraMotive was established in 2006 when Magma Group acquired the engineering group Menard, best known for its work in developing the DB7 and the Vanquish for Aston Martin. Its new ownership propelled a change in emphasis and a widening of capabilities to include research-led development solutions as well as high-end automotive engineering. This in turn drove the need for an appropriate branding structure that would capture the essence of this advancement and provide
a fitting image of its impressive 30-year heritage. Presented with a tight deadline to deliver a solution before the launch of the new brand, we eagerly set to work on forming a robust and polished proposition. The name UltraMotive was chosen
as it succinctly conveyed the extreme nature of
the design, detail and drive of the business.
