After only two years of operation, Islamic Bank UIB (United International Bank) had outgrown its identity and recognised the limitations it faced in defining a world-class brand. Interstate Associates were invited to create a new corporate identity, beginning with a name change.

The name change was a positive and crucial step in aligning the Bank's character and global outlook with their brand presence. Seera – Arabic for ‘legacy’ embodies the Banks professionalism and confidence and as such the book became a central theme in our concept and the overall creation of a new identity which projects the Bank as positive, progressive and confident.
