To officially open Amwaj Islands the Crown Prince and Commander in Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force; HH Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, was invited to switch on the utilities and declare Amwaj as a new place to live and work on 12th April 2007. Local, regional and international media, investors and property owners were also present
to experience the event. For attendees of the
event, a gift bag was produced containing a commemorative image book and post card pack. Interstate also created the Amwaj fragrance ‘Amwaj Eau de Parfum’ which included sourcing the scent itself, and designing the bottle graphics and packaging. Also submitted were designs for the event pavillion ground work, interior furnishings
and lighting of the event.
