Since the launch of the Ford Focus, Interstate has been charged with the design of the surface graphics and the sympathetic union of a group of famous but disparate brands. Year one called for a rethink of Martini’s trademark racing stripes.
Year two brought support from Telefonica MoviStar and with it came the need for ’blue’ surfaces. This evolution used similar shapes with a dramatic stiletto roof-top detail.
Year three reintroduced a classic Ford signature:
the centre bonnet stripe which met with similar side detailing on the roof and retained the now familiar ‘heavy’ rear. Each following year has had it’s own particular requirements, with the balance of brands a constant factor.
